In preparation for “Wildlings After Dark,” the Museum’s big fundraising event September 17, the Wildling Art Museum sold raffle tickets for two exciting contributed items: a framed panoramic photograph of an Indian rock art site by Diane G. Orr and a beaded evening bag with a coral motif by designer Mary Frances. Ms. Frances was named 2004 Accessory Designer of the Year, and her uniquely ornamented hand-bags are carried by First Street Leather in Solvang, who donated the coral designed bag for the raffle. The winner of the photograph chose the image he/she wants from the then current exhibition, “Visionscapes: Vanishing Rock Art Sites of the West.”
