2007 DRAWING

sunflower.jpgThe Wildling Art Museum offered a framed Robert Cale etching in a drawing. “Sunflower”, date unknown, softground etching on Arches buff paper, (30"x17"), 38/50, signed R. A. Cale by his daughter, Shana Nemeth. Tickets were purchased via an rsvp card, at the Museum, and at the Gala. A donation of $25 for each ticket was requested. A maximum of 250 tickets were offered.

As a courtesy to individuals unable to attend the event, the Wildling Art Museum accepted absentee bids for the Auction. A Museum volunteer bid for the individual, and, tried to bid as they would, to obtain the item at the lowest price possible. All absentee bids had to be received by September 11, 2007.
