On Saturday, April 1, the Wildling Art Museum invited Cathy Rose, a well-known botanist in Santa Barbara, to lead nature enthusiasts on a wildflower walk in the Santa Ynez Valley. Last year the group went to Figueroa Mountain, but the location of this year’s walk was decided by keeping in mind where the best wildflowers were blooming. The caravan began at 9:00 a.m. at the Wildling Art Museum, where participants received Adventure Passes. Participants brought water and picnic lunches as the estimated return was 2 p.m.
