Jamie McConnell transforms found objects into light sculptures that are simultaneously retro and very modern. She recently returned to her hometown of Solvang, California, after living for several years on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she was inspired by the jungle, and isolation. Her pieces combine found household objects that she engineers combining LED technology. The results are transcendent and futuristic, adding unique ambiance to a room.
